Traron is run by Bill and Annette Robbins together with their daughter Tracy.
The stud was established in 1989 with the purchase of 3 pregnant females. One with a male cria at foot. Today we run approximately 400 alpacas, both Huacaya and Suri and of all colours.

Bill is one of Australia's foundation alpaca judges.

He has judged every major show in Australia at least once, including being the only Australian to judge the National show three times. Bill has judged in the United States, Canada and New Zealand and was the first Australian judge to be asked to judge overseas. He is also an I.A.J.S (International Alpaca Judges School) of Peru accredited international judge.

Annette is the hostess and jack of all trades. After thirty five years on the land she can turn her hand to all aspects of animal husbandry and thus Annette often remains at home to cria down females and see everything runs smoothly on the property while Bill is away judging.

Traron is situated at Holbrook, New South Wales. Five minutes off the Hume Highway, almost half way between Melbourne and Sydney.
